MSc student

Lucie Korbová is a master's student at the Department of Biotechnology of the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague. She obtained her BSc degree in Drug Biotechnology at UCT and now continues her studies in the same field. Her project is aimed at studying of the detection of molecular mechanisms of the neuroinvasive Escherichia coli strain, focused on the production of secondary metabolites and QS molecules, through which the pathogen penetrates the blood-brain barrier and thus causes an infection, which leads to pathological changes in the brain.
